At one point or another we all face large challenges in our lives. Sometimes those challenges become so difficult that they begin to affect our moods and relationships. Individual psychotherapy using CBT and/or ACT can help you navigate those challenges so that you can live a fulfilling life.
During the first two sessions we will explore your situation. This will include examining your thoughts, emotions, behaviours, sleep, health, family, relationship, friends, and work or school. These sessions are designed to understand your needs and developing a plan that is right for you. This includes discussions about the type of therapy that would be most beneficial to your needs. The initial sessions may include some psychometric testing to identify symptoms and provide some insight into the severity of your issues.
